
Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) - Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) Architect to design and lead our cross-channel analytics strategy.
In this high-level technical role, you will be responsible for defining the end-to-end data architecture that powers our customer insights; from data ingestion in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to advanced visualization in CJA.
You will serve as the technical authority, ensuring our data models, identity resolution strategies, and reporting frameworks are scalable, performant, and aligned with complex business objectives. You will guide developers and analysts to transform fragmented data into a unified view of the customer journey.
Responsibilities
Design the overall CJA solution architecture, defining how data flows from disparate sources (Web SDK, Mobile, CRM, POS, Call Center) into AEP and effectively connects to CJA.
Lead the strategy for Identity Resolution and "Stitching," determining the best approach to link anonymous and known profiles across devices and channels for accurate journey mapping.
Define the roadmap for migrating from traditional Adobe Analytics to CJA, including gap analysis and feature parity planning.
Define the Data Dictionary and Solution Design Reference (SDR) for the organization, ensuring consistency across all data points.
Establish governance standards for Data Views, ensuring naming conventions, access controls, and data privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA) are enforced.
Translate high-level business goals (e.g., "Understand churn across all channels") into technical requirements and architectural designs.
Mentor CJA Developers and Analysts, providing technical guidance on complex configurations and derived fields.
Stay updated on the latest Adobe roadmap features (e.g., B2B Edition, Intelligent Services) and assess their value for the organization.
Design integrations with external BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau) using CJA APIs or ODBC drivers if required.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Digital Analytics, Data Architecture, or Marketing Technology.
Deep expertise in Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
Extensive background in Adobe Analytics architecture (SDR design, eVars/Props strategy, Processing Rules).
Strong understanding of Identity Graphs, Profile Service, and Identity Namespaces.
Knowledge of Adobe Web SDK / Edge Network implementation strategies.
Ability to design solutions for complex, multi-brand, or multi-region environments.
Strong consulting skills: ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and present technical solutions to executive stakeholders.
Experience with data governance and privacy regulations.
