
Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) - QA
Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) QA Specialist to ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our AEP implementations.
The AEP QA will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate data ingestion, profile unification, segmentation, and activation processes within AEP.
You will work closely with architects, developers, and business analysts to identify and resolve defects, ensuring the platform accurately supports downstream marketing and personalization efforts.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for AEP data flows, schemas, and configurations.
Execute manual and automated tests to validate data ingestion from various sources into AEP, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and adherence to XDM standards.
Verify the accurate functioning of Identity Namespaces and Merge Policies to ensure correct customer profile unification.
Validate segmentation logic and real-time profile updates, ensuring audiences are correctly defined and activated.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features, schema changes, or data source integrations do not negatively impact existing AEP functionality.
Collaborate with AEP developers and architects to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, schema definitions, and platform configurations in a timely manner.
Work with Business Analysts to ensure AEP implementations meet defined business requirements and use cases, including data mapping and audience definitions.
Utilize AEP Query Service (SQL) to analyze data quality, validate datasets, and ensure data consistency within the platform.
Provide feedback and recommendations for improving the quality, performance, and effectiveness of our AEP solutions.
Document test results, defects, and quality assurance processes using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on data platforms, marketing technology (MarTech), or Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
Demonstrable experience testing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) implementations, including XDM schemas, data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and destination activation.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation and analysis within large datasets.
Familiarity with data modeling concepts, JSON structures, and API testing.
Experience with testing integrations between AEP and other systems (e.g., Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Analytics, CRMs).
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
